The centre of gravity in the FRZ Wedges has been intentionally designed away from the actual impact point. One of the purposes is to increase maneuverability by placing the centre of gravity on the heel side, as well as to accommodate the various techniques utilised by players. The new design also facilitates to control the amount of spin depending on the technical shot. In addition, by separating the centre of gravity from the actual impact point, the gear effect helps to improve spin performance.

SOLE VARIATIONS TO SUIT DIFFERENT PLAYING STYLES AND CONDITIONS:

The propulsive force of the head generated when the sole hits the ground (grass or sand) affects the amount of spin and energy. There are three types of sole to provide optimal spin, smooth follow through, and ideal head speed acceleration depending on each player’s style/shot and golf course conditions.
