LANEWAY GOLF – CUSTOM BUILD TERMS & REFUND POLICY
By placing an order with Laneway Golf, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms for all custom-built, made-to-order and special-order products.

CUSTOM BUILT PRODUCTS
All custom-built golf clubs, shafts, putters and made-to-order products are assembled, modified, or supplied according to the specifications selected and approved by the customer at the time of purchase.
As these products are custom-built and production commences shortly after order confirmation, they are not eligible for return, exchange, store credit, or refund for change of mind.
2. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Customers are responsible for ensuring all specifications provided at the time of order are accurate and complete.
This includes, but is not limited to: • Club model• Shaft model and flex• Club length• Loft and lie settings• Grip selection• Tipping instructions• Adapter selection• Dexterity and build requirements• Shipping information
Laneway Golf accepts no responsibility for costs arising from incorrect information supplied at checkout or during order approval.
3. ORDER AMENDMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
Orders may only be amended or cancelled prior to processing, component allocation, ordering of components, or commencement of assembly.
Where Laneway Golf agrees, at its sole discretion, to accept a cancellation request after processing has commenced, a cancellation and restocking fee of up to 25% of the total order value, or actual costs incurred by Laneway Golf (whichever is greater), may apply.
Actual costs may include supplier charges, component procurement, labour, administration, merchant processing fees, freight charges and handling costs.
Once assembly, production or completion of a custom build has commenced, cancellation requests maybe declined, and no refund may be available.
4. BUILD & DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES
All build and dispatch timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
By placing an order for a custom product, you confirm that you have reviewed all specifications and accept these terms.
Delays may occur due to supplier availability, manufacturing schedules, freight disruptions, component shortages, customs delays or workshop demand.
Laneway Golf is not responsible for delays outside of its reasonable control.
5. MANUFACTURING & BUILD TOLERANCES
All custom-built products remain subject to standard manufacturing and assembly tolerances.
This includes, but is not limited to: • Club length• Swing weight• Loft and lie• Total weight• Frequency• Grip alignment• Shaft graphics orientation• Cosmetic finish
Minor variances that fall within accepted manufacturing and assembly tolerances do not constitute a defect.
6. INSPECTION & DELIVERY
Customers should inspect all goods immediately upon receipt.
Any claim relating to incorrect supply, transit damage or suspected manufacturing fault should benotified to Laneway Golf within 7 days of delivery together with supporting photographs where applicable.
7. RETURNS & REFUNDS
Approved returns must be received in original condition and may require inspection before a remedy is determined.
Custom-built products are not eligible for return or refund due to change of mind.
8. WARRANTY
Laneway Golf warrants that all custom assembly and workmanship performed by Laneway Golf will be completed with reasonable care and skill.
Where applicable, individual components including heads, shafts, grips and accessories may also be covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions. Warranty periods and coveragemay vary between manufacturers.
Warranty claims must be submitted together with proof of purchase and may require inspection, returnof goods, photographs or assessment by Laneway Golf or the manufacturer before any remedy is determined.
This warranty does not cover: • Normal wear and tear• Cosmetic marks, scratches or finish changes from normal use. Damage caused by misuse, neglect, abuse or accident• Damage caused by improper storage or transport• Alterations, modifications or repairs carried out by third parties• Components supplied by the customer for installation• Performance preferences, fitting changes or dissatisfaction with feel, ball flight or appearance after use• Standard manufacturing or build tolerances
Where a warranty claim is approved, Laneway Golf may repair, replace or otherwise provide a remedy consistent with Australian Consumer Law and any applicable manufacturer warranty.
9. CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED COMPONENTS
Laneway Golf accepts no responsibility for manufacturer defects, compatibility issues, fitment concerns, or future failure of customer-supplied heads, shafts, grips or components installed during repair or custom build services.
10. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
Customers may still be entitled to remedies where goods fail to meet consumer guarantees, including where products are faulty, not fit for purpose, or not supplied as described.
EXCHANGES
Laneway Golf does not offer exchanges on custom-built, made-to-order or special-order products.
For eligible standard products, the fastest way to obtain an alternative item is to submit a return request (where approved) and place a new order separately.
Exchange requests remain subject to product availability and approval under this policy.
EUROPEAN UNION 14-DAY COOLING-OFF PERIOD
For orders shipped into the European Union, customers may have rights to cancel or return certain purchases within 14 days of delivery in accordance with applicable laws.
This right does not apply where goods are custom-made, personalised or manufactured to customer specifications where an exemption applies under local law.
Returned items must be unused, in original condition and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
REFUNDS
Where a return, warranty claim or remedy is approved, Laneway Golf will notify the customer once the product has been received and assessed.
Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on payment providers and financial institutions.
Custom-built, made-to-order and special-order products are not eligible for refund due to change of mind.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
